The costume was made from an old comforter in 3 days by myself and two very hard working friends. Including the hair which is the cotton from the comforter. Other items such as flowers and birds for my hair and shoes were purchased at thrift stores. The fan is hand made as well. All in all I think it cost about $28 to make. Not including the comforter that I already had!
