Putting your Minnie Mouse Costume Together:

Step 1: The dress that Minnie Mouse wears is a classic 1950s style dress. It is red with white polka dots. The skirt should be full and it should twirl when you spin. It should also have short puffy sleeves. You can find dress like this in a second hand shop or you can make one from a pattern.

Step 2: You can make the bow that Minnie Mouse wears in her hair from red polka dot ribbon. Choose a wide width ribbon and you can just tie it in your hair.You may even be able to find a ribbon that works at an accessory store.

Step 3: Naturally, you can buy mouse ears at any costume shop. However, you can also make mouse ears for your Minnie costume. All you need is a black headband, glue, cardboard and black construction paper. Cut the ear shapes from black construction paper and cardboard. Glue the paper to the cardboard and then to the headband.

Step 4: The finishing touches for your Minnie Mouse costume are the dress gloves, black shoes, and white ruffle socks. Plus, you have to add whiskers with the black face paint or you won’t be mousy enough!
