I like to be costumes that no one else is. So, I was browsing around characters from early 90′s cartoons, and found Megavolt. There was so much to make and do with it, so I decided I would make my boyfriend be Darkwing Duck, the less involved costume, so I could be Megavolt. We made almost everything. I even made my shirt out of spandex the day of. The battery is an office water jug covered in foam.

Everything about ducks is cute, adorable, and irresistible and that includes the duck costume.  This is part of what makes duck costumes so perfect for Halloween or any costume party.  Of course, the most famous duck, Donald Duck makes for a popular duck costume. The Donald Duck costume is always a Halloween favorite, but other duck costumes are great fun as well.  Baby duck costumes have an adorability factor that is off the charts.  Its difficult to find anything cuter than a baby dressed in a baby duck costume.  A baby dressed in a yellow, furry baby duck costume makes for nothing short of a perfect Halloween snapshot!

A good adult duck costume can also be a great deal of fun for grown up parties.  If you are looking for a costume that instantly puts people at ease, duck costumes are a perfect fit.  It’s nearly impossible to stay in a bad mood around someone who is wearing a duck costume.  Part of the appeal is obviously the bright yellow so often associated with duck costumes.  Yellow has the ability to cheer up just about everyone that sees it, especially when combined with the fun of a cartoon duck!
