In 2009, the $170 million dollar re-imagining of G.I. Joe hit theaters with a stars and loads of visual effects. But G.I. Joe is far from a new idea and has been with us for quite some time. The fact is that G.I. was born way back in 1965 and has undergone a tremendous transformation since his early days. What began as a simple movable figure has evolved into the G.I. Joe universe with dozens of characters, villains and lots of technology. The popular cartoon series of the 1980s has kept G.I. Joe alive and well in the minds of many people.

Snake Eyes is a ninja like killer, who never speaks. He can even carry a sword. That fact alone would probably be enough to sell most kids on this kid’s costume.
