We had so much fun as a family making and adding props to our costumes. My husband and I made bert and ernies head out of foam, fleece,felt and feather boas. I sewed berts shirt from fabric I found at a thift store. Elmo was a bought costume. Big bird and oscar were the vintage ben cooper costumes that we added to. We made big birds feet out of foam and used feathers and boas for her skirt and shirt. her tights we sewed on rolled up fleece Oscar had trash hanging from his costume!! So much fun
